Danny Bonaduce stole the show when he appeared on 1970s hit “The Patridge Family.” As the wise-cracking bassist in the singing family band that traveled in a Technicolor school bus, Bonaduce was immortalized in American pop culture at age 11.

After a reality TV stint, the raspy-voiced actor and producer found a home on radio as a DJ hosting shows in Detroit, Chicago and Philadelphia — until Bonaduce’s show was cancelled in August after the station, WYSP, changed formats.

So it was little wonder that the peripatetic celebrity no longer needs his Philly abode. Bonaduce has listed his industrial townhouse on the Center City East real estate market for a very affordable celebrity real estate price of $475,000.

The Polaris Prize does not traditionally reward the bigger names in music, and the unknown indie band has a better chance of coming away a winner than bands that are well established. But the brilliance and sheer impact of Canada’s biggest band will not be denied, and Arcade Fire took home this year’s Polaris Prize for their latest album “The Suburbs.”

So while an upset of sorts, the award was well deserved, most everyone agrees.

LONDON (AP) – Britney Spears has raised some hackles in Hackney.Officials in the east London borough, which was scarred by last month’s riots, are miffed that the singer filmed a video in the area that shows her robbing a store and brandishing a gun.Spears shot the clip for her upcoming single “Criminal” while she was on tour in Britain this month. The singer’s public relations firm says the video depicts Spears and boyfriend Jason Trawick “in a Bonnie and Clyde-style setup, holding shops up while on the run as armed robbers.”For Hackney Council, that was in poor taste.
