Drake to perform at Grammys

Another Canadian superstar has signed on for the Grammy Awards. Rapper Drake — up for four trophies at this year’s event — will perform a duet with fellow multiple-nominee Rihanna during the televised ceremonies, organizers have announced.

Also joining the lineup are Gwyneth Paltrow and (for some reason) the Jim Henson Company puppets, who will be part of Cee Lo Green’s performance. Um, OK. Country stars Dierks Bentley and Blake Shelton, singer Norah Jones, teen queen (and rumoured Justin Bieber GF) Selena Gomez, rapper- turned-actor LL Cool J and singer Nicki Minaj will also appear as presenters.

They join a long list of previously announced performers that inclues Eminem, Lady Antebellum, Lady Gaga, Miranda Lambert, Muse, Katy Perry, Janelle Monáe, Bruno Mars and B.o.B., along with Canadians Arcade Fire and Bieber, the latter performing with Usher and Jaden Smith.

The 53rd annual Grammy Awards will be handed out live on TV on Feb. 13 at Staples Center in Los Angeles. As always, we’ll be in L.A. for all the events.
