CONTROVERSIAL popstar Lady Gaga has revealed the secret behind her raunchy behaviour: her dad.
The Edge of Glory singer said her wild side came from her father, Joe, who used to romp with women outdoors and hired a stripper to teach her the piano, The Sun reports.She said of her dad: “He was having sex with girls under the boardwalk in New Jersey before he went to see Bruce Springsteen.
“He saw a lot of himself in me. My first piano teacher was a stripper. My dad told me later. I used to say to her, ‘Why do you have such long nails?’ She just said, ‘Someday you’ll understand why’.” In her candid interview with American radio presenter Howard Stern, Gaga, 25, also revealed that she had once been addicted to cocaine and still smoked marijuana, but only occasionally.”I was for sure addicted to coke. I got off it because my father called me out and kicked my a–,” she said, according to The Sun.
Gaga said she now smoked marijuana, but only occasionally.
The singer also talked about the loss of her grandad.
“My grandpa was dying and I was heartbroken.”
Gaga said she wrote her song The Edge of Glory after visiting him in hospital.
