Connecticut singer and guitarist Christine Ohlman and her band, Rebel Montez, have been nominated in four categories in AlternateRoot.com’s .
Ohlman, the long-time singer in the “Saturday Night Live” band, is up for songwriter and female vocalist, and she and her band are nominated in the categories “roots group or duo” and “video.”
The digital magazines describes its mission as being “committed to the redistribution of opportunity for success for independent American Roots musicians since 2007.”
