Crystal Bowersox, runner-up on the ninth season of “American Idol” in 2010, will headline a Sept. 10 show at Lehigh University’s Stabler Arena on Sept. 10 that also will include Emo rockers Hawthorne Heights, Lehigh just announced.

The Rev It Up concert also will feature Lehigh Valley singer Jordan White, who made it to the second round of “American Idol” in 2006, and Philadelphia singer-songwriter Carmen Magro.

Tickets for the show, at $39.50 for the floor and lower concourse and$27.50 for the concourse and bleachers, will go on sale at 10 a.m. July 5 at the Stabler box office, all TicketMaster outlets, and 800-745-3000.

Bowersox finishedsecond to Lee DeWyze on “Idol” after gaining a following for her bluesy folk songs and blond dreadlocks.

She released her debut album, “Farmer’s Daughter,” in December. It peaked at No. 28 on Billboard’s album chart and No. 2 on Billboard’s rock chart. Its first single, the title song, didn’t chart.

Hawthorne Heights hit the top of Billboards Heatseekers chart with its 2004 debut disc, “The Silence in Black and White” (which went platinum) and topped Billboards Independent Albums chart and hit No. 3 overall in2006 with its sophomore disc, “If Only You Were Lonely” (which went gold).

The accidental death of guitarist Casey Calvert from reaction to prescription medicine stunned the band, but it came back strong with its third disc, “Fragile Future,” which hit No. 4 on the Independent Albums chart. Its newest disc, “Skeletons,” released in June 2010 also hit No. 50 on Billboards albums chart.

White, in addition to playing solo, plays with the bands KineticBlu and Foreplay.
